Whats the deal with this guys entrances in K-1. He is clearly a fan of Cosplay, but is this detrimental to the K1 sport? Surely dressing up as a female cartoon character before your fight will be viewed in a negative way in the western world?

Will this be seen by those outside the sport as a gimmick of “Freak Show” in the same way as Hong Man Choi or Bob Sapp are viewed?

I just dont think K1 will be the same without Buakaw and Andy Souwer. And adding fighters like Nagashima make it a bit of a freak show ( more on him later!).

A fantastic new boxing advertisment from HBO for the HBO Boxing After Dark Programme. I’m sure there are many ways to interpret this video, but in my opinion its to show that self improvement is possible regardless of your financial status. You just have to want it bad enough.
